Catenaa, Thursday, September 24, 2026- JPMorgan raised the price target of Meta to $920 by the end of the year following the release of the Muse AI agent.

According to CNBC, JPMorgan analyst Doug Anmuth raised his price target on Meta stock to $920 from $820 while maintaining an overweight rating on the stock; the stock was trading at $720 on Thursday.

“Meta continues to move towards superintelligence with Muse off to a strong start — quickly iterating, improving, and expanding — with the potential to bring an extremely capable personal agent to billions of users,” Anmuth said in a note Thursday, according to CNBC. “While it is still early, we believe that Muse has the potential to become the most widely used consumer AI application since ChatGPT.”

Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg introduced the products during the opening keynote at the event in Menlo Park, California.

The new handheld device, called Muse Charm, has a small display and 5G connectivity and is designed to allow users to interact with Muse without using a smartphone. Meta said the device is expected to become available for purchase by December.

Zuckerberg also said Muse will be integrated with Meta’s AI-enabled smart glasses.

The Meta CEO outlined the company’s expectations for broader adoption of the AI agent and its potential business model.

“In the coming years, I expect that Muse is going to grow into the personal superintelligence that billions of people are going to use,” Zuckerberg said.

According to CNBC, Anmuth views business connections locked by Muse AI as a potential revenue driver. Muse AI has locked in partnerships with Walmart, Best Buy, Sephora, and Wayfair

“We view Connectors — and open APIs — as the first of many steps to bring businesses onto Muse,” Anumuth wrote. He said Meta could eventually monetize Muse interactions on a take-rate or commission basis, similar to how it generates revenue from advertising.

As per CNBC, JPMorgan’s position aligns with the broader analyst community. Among the 63 analysts who follow Meta, 57 carry a buy or strong buy rating on the shares, which cited LSEG data.
