Catenaa, Friday, September 25, 2026- Multi-asset trading platform Monochrome Exchange has opened an initial exchange offering for MCR, its native utility token, with 5% of the token’s maximum supply allocated to the public sale.

The offering opened September 21 and is scheduled to run through September 28 on the Monochrome Launchpad.

MCR is priced at $0.88, with 10.5 million tokens available from a maximum supply of 210 million.

Participants can commit USDT with no minimum purchase requirement and a maximum subscription of $100,000 per account.

Tokens will remain locked for one month after the token generation event before being released linearly over the following three months.

Monochrome Exchange says it currently operates more than 260 markets spanning crypto, tokenized stocks, exchange-traded funds, commodities and exposure to private companies.

Its equity offering includes tokenized exposure to US and Hong Kong-listed companies such as Apple, Nvidia, Tesla and BYD.

The platform also offers markets linked to gold, silver, crude oil, natural gas and major ETFs.

Monochrome says it provides tokenized exposure to private companies including OpenAI and Anthropic. Such products represent market exposure and should not be confused with direct ownership of shares in those privately held companies.

MCR is designed to function across the exchange rather than represent equity in the business.

The company says holders can receive trading-fee discounts, stake tokens, participate in governance and gain access to Launchpad offerings and planned Digital IPO products.

Monochrome also plans to use part of its revenue to reduce MCR supply.

Under the announced structure, 20% of net platform profit and 25% of Launchpad and Digital IPO fee revenue will be allocated to quarterly MCR purchases. Acquired tokens are intended to be sent to a burn address.

Team and adviser allocations carry a 12-month lock followed by a 36-month vesting period.

Monochrome Exchange was founded by Jeff Yew, the former chief executive of Binance Australia and founder of Monochrome Asset Management.

The exchange stresses that it operates separately from Monochrome Asset Management and does not inherit the asset manager’s licences or regulatory authorisations.

Monochrome plans to launch its first Digital IPO product in the first quarter of 2027, with MCR required for participation.
