Catenaa, Thursday, September 17, 2026- Ethena Labs has launched its USDe synthetic dollar and sUSDe staked token on the TRON blockchain, expanding the protocol’s multichain reach into one of the world’s largest networks for stablecoin transactions.

TRON DAO and Ethena announced the integration on September 11.

Users can bridge USDe and sUSDe to TRON through Stargate Finance and hold or transfer both assets across the network.

Support through major TRON decentralized finance applications, including JustLend DAO and SUN.io, is expected to follow over the coming weeks.

The companies said they also expect wider integration with wallets, exchanges and payment applications.

USDe on TRON will remain connected with liquidity across other networks supported by Ethena, allowing users to move the asset between blockchain ecosystems.

Ethena describes USDe as a synthetic dollar designed to maintain a value near $1 through a combination of crypto collateral and derivatives-based hedging strategies.

sUSDe represents staked USDe and is designed to pass protocol-generated rewards to holders.

The TRON deployment gives Ethena access to a network where dollar-denominated digital assets already account for a large share of activity.

TRON hosts more than $94 billion in circulating USDT, according to data cited by TRON DAO from TRONSCAN.

The network had recorded more than 403 million user accounts, over 15 billion transactions and more than $28 billion in total value locked as of September, according to the same source.

Those figures were supplied in the companies’ announcement and were not independently verified by Catenaa.

Ethena founder Guy Young said the integration would allow TRON users to access USDe and sUSDe without moving to another blockchain.

TRON founder Justin Sun said the addition broadens the range of dollar-denominated assets available to network users.

The launch extends Ethena’s broader effort to distribute USDe across multiple blockchain networks.

The asset is now supported on more than a dozen networks and has integrations with centralized exchanges and decentralized finance applications.

Ethena Labs is also behind USDtb, another dollar-denominated digital asset.

The company has attracted backing from investors including Fidelity, Franklin Templeton, Dragonfly, Binance Labs, Bybit and OKX.

The TRON expansion also places USDe alongside a large existing stablecoin market dominated by Tether’s USDT.

For Ethena, the opportunity is access to users already accustomed to transferring dollar-linked assets for payments, savings and trading.

For TRON, the integration adds another dollar-denominated asset and gives users access to Ethena’s yield-generating structure through sUSDe.

The rollout will now depend on how quickly TRON-based DeFi platforms, exchanges and wallets adopt the two assets.
