Catenaa, Tuesday, September 08, 2026- Crypto Expo Dubai will open Wednesday at Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing regulators, financial institutions and blockchain companies together for a two-day program.

The eighth edition will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sept. 9 and Sept. 10 in Sheikh Saeed Hall 3.

Organizers expect more than 7,000 attendees, 100 exhibitors and 140 speakers representing over 40 countries. Those figures are organizer projections.

Scheduled speakers include Tony Ashraf, a managing director at BlackRock, and Luke Judges, a partner director at blockchain payments company Ripple.

Mazen ElJundi, Revolut’s global business head of investments, and Ruben Bombardi, general counsel at Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, are also listed.

Simon O’Brien, executive director for markets at Abu Dhabi Global Market’s Financial Services Regulatory Authority, is among the regulatory speakers.

The program will examine cross-border regulation, tokenized assets, stablecoins, digital custody, blockchain infrastructure and links between established financial institutions and Web3 companies.

One panel will address how crypto businesses can pursue international expansion while meeting licensing, compliance and financial-crime controls.

The exhibition will feature companies involved in exchanges, brokerage, payments, wallets, compliance systems and blockchain infrastructure.

Organizers are also offering networking sessions and side events for institutions, investors, technology companies and digital-asset service operators.

Dubai has attracted cryptocurrency companies through licensing systems administered by VARA and other financial regulators operating across the United Arab Emirates.

The city also hosts several blockchain and financial technology conferences, although regional conflict forced TOKEN2049 organizers to postpone their April 2026 Dubai event.

Dubai World Trade Centre lists Crypto Expo Dubai as a trade-only business and finance exhibition organized by Huan Qiao Event Management.
