Catenaa, Sunday, August 16, 2026-  CCPayment has introduced industry-specific crypto payment infrastructure for artificial intelligence platforms, e-commerce businesses and trading firms, including tools that allow AI systems to initiate and track payments programmatically.

The Web3 payments company said its updated APIs cover payment acceptance, digital asset conversion, settlement and bulk payouts. They support more than 900 cryptocurrencies across over 100 blockchain networks.

The AI component offers the more unusual development.

CCPayment has introduced a machine-readable SKILL.md developer guide that can be supplied to large language models. The AI can interpret the technical instructions and assist developers in generating code needed to connect applications with CCPayment’s payment infrastructure.

That creates a potential payment layer for emerging AI agents and autonomous software.

An AI service could create a payment request, monitor its status through automated notifications and settle charges without someone manually operating a payment dashboard. The infrastructure can also support recurring API charges, usage-based payments for computing resources or datasets and scheduled payments to contributors.

The approach comes as developers increasingly examine how autonomous AI agents could conduct economic transactions independently. Such systems would require payment infrastructure capable of operating through software instructions rather than traditional checkout screens designed for humans.

CCPayment has created separate integration routes for other industries.

E-commerce businesses can use hosted checkout services, payment links, invoices and permanent crypto deposit addresses. Trading platforms can accept supported digital assets, automatically convert deposits into stablecoins and process withdrawals to multiple recipients through batch transactions.

The company said pricing starts at 0.2%, depending on monthly transaction volume.

CCPayment says it serves more than 67,000 business accounts across more than 90 countries and regions and has processed over $20 billion in cumulative transactions.

The development highlights an emerging change in crypto payments. Blockchain payment infrastructure was initially designed mainly to help people transfer digital assets.

The arrival of autonomous AI could create another customer entirely: software capable of earning, spending and settling money without a human clicking “pay.”
