Catenaa, Sunday, September 20, 2026-Crypto exchange BTCC has launched a $1 million futures trading competition ahead of TOKEN2049 Singapore, offering a Tesla Cybertruck to the trader who records the highest qualifying volume.

The Trade to Win campaign runs through October 13 and ranks participants according to cumulative futures trading volume.

BTCC said the top 300 traders will receive tiered rewards, with the first-place participant eligible for the Cybertruck.

The six highest-ranked traders will also receive tickets to TOKEN2049 Singapore and an invitation to meet the BTCC team during the event at Marina Bay Sands on October 7 and 8.

Other prizes include iPhones, Apple devices, a Nintendo Switch 2 and USDT trading vouchers.

Participation requires users to register for the campaign and trade futures through the exchange.

BTCC is also running a separate prize draw for users at VIP 3 level or above.

Those participants must accumulate at least 10 million USDT in futures trading volume during the campaign to qualify for a draw involving what BTCC describes as an iPhone Duo prize.

The exchange launched the campaign as part of its sponsorship of TOKEN2049 Singapore, where BTCC is participating as a platinum sponsor.

BTCC said the promotion is intended to support its “0-Barrier Trading” theme during the conference.

The company will also hold a rooftop event in Singapore on October 8 to mark its 15th anniversary.

The event is scheduled to take place after the main TOKEN2049 exhibition and will bring together partners, creators and other industry participants.

TOKEN2049 has developed into one of the crypto industry’s major annual conference brands, attracting exchanges, blockchain developers, investors, infrastructure providers and digital-asset companies.

Its Singapore edition has become particularly important as Asia expands its role in crypto trading, tokenization and institutional digital-asset development.

Large exchanges frequently use major industry conferences to launch products, announce partnerships and run customer-acquisition campaigns.

Trading competitions have also become a common promotional tool among crypto platforms.

They generally rank users by trading volume or profitability and distribute rewards across a leaderboard.

Such promotions can attract substantial activity, but they can also encourage participants to trade more frequently or use leverage.

BTCC’s competition is centered on futures, a market where traders can take leveraged positions on cryptocurrency price movements.

Leverage can amplify profits but can also increase losses and liquidation risk when markets move against a position.

The campaign therefore represents a marketing initiative rather than an indication of likely trading returns.

BTCC was founded in 2011 and describes itself as one of the longest-operating cryptocurrency exchanges.

The company said it serves more than 12 million users in over 100 countries.

Those figures were supplied by BTCC and were not independently verified by Catenaa.

The exchange also serves as a regional sponsor of the Argentine Football Association as part of its wider branding strategy.

The TOKEN2049 campaign gives BTCC another high-profile route to attract futures traders during a period when exchanges are competing heavily on incentives, liquidity and product range.

For participants, however, the headline prizes come with a straightforward condition: the contest rewards trading activity, and greater futures volume can also mean greater market exposure.
