Catenaa, Sunday, October 12, 2025- Gate Technology Ltd, part of Gate Group and based in Malta, has obtained a MiCA license from the Malta Financial Services Authority, authorizing the company to provide exchange and custody services in Europe.
The license represents a key milestone in Gate Group’s compliance-first strategy and European expansion plans.

The license positions Gate Europe to passport its operations across the continent, strengthening its presence among Europe’s leading crypto service providers.
Gate Europe’s CEO, Giovanni Cunti, said the company aims to deliver secure, efficient, and professional services under MiCA’s framework while accelerating growth in the European market.
The milestone complements Gate Group’s existing regulatory footprint, which spans jurisdictions including Italy, the Bahamas, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, and Dubai.
