Catenaa, Friday, September 18, 2026- TRON has expanded MetaMask connectivity across four major applications in its ecosystem, allowing users to access B.AI, SUN.io, JustLend DAO and BitTorrent through the widely used self-custodial wallet.

TRON DAO announced the expansion September 10 after MetaMask introduced native support for the TRON network earlier this year across its mobile application and browser extension.

The latest integrations allow users to interact directly with more TRON-based services without switching to a separate wallet.

B.AI provides financial infrastructure designed for autonomous artificial intelligence agents, allowing them to hold identities, make payments and execute transactions onchain.

SUN.io is a decentralized finance platform on TRON that includes the SunSwap decentralized exchange and automated market maker.

TRON DAO said SUN.io holds more than $650 million in total value locked.

JustLend DAO, the network’s lending protocol, allows users to borrow, lend and stake digital assets.

The protocol has more than $7 billion in total value locked, according to figures provided by TRON DAO.

BitTorrent adds another layer to the integration through BitTorrent Chain and the BitTorrent File System.

BitTorrent Chain provides cross-chain interoperability, while the BitTorrent File System offers decentralized data storage.

The expansion means MetaMask users can now connect directly to those applications while maintaining control of their private keys.

MetaMask added native TRON support earlier this year, extending a wallet long associated with Ethereum and other compatible networks into TRON’s ecosystem.

That integration allows users to manage TRON-based assets directly through MetaMask.

TRON DAO said the latest rollout is intended to increase accessibility by allowing users to interact with applications through a wallet they may already use elsewhere.

MetaMask’s Dan Rosario said broader application support gives users more ways to interact with TRON while retaining self-custody.

TRON has become one of the largest networks for stablecoin transfers.

The blockchain processes more than $23 billion in average daily transfer volume and hosts more than $94 billion in circulating USDT, according to figures supplied by TRON DAO.

The organization also said the network had recorded more than 402 million user accounts and over 15 billion transactions as of September.

TRON reported more than $27 billion in total value locked across its ecosystem.

Those figures were provided in the announcement and were not independently verified by Catenaa.

The MetaMask expansion comes as blockchain networks compete to reduce friction between wallets and decentralized applications.

Wallet compatibility can become a barrier when users need separate software for different networks.

Native support allows the same wallet to connect directly with applications across multiple blockchain environments.

For TRON, expanding MetaMask connectivity could help expose its DeFi, payment and cross-chain applications to users already familiar with MetaMask.

The rollout also extends the utility of MetaMask beyond Ethereum-centered applications into a network heavily used for stablecoin transfers and payments.

Further TRON applications are expected to add MetaMask connectivity as developers build on the network’s native wallet support.
