Catenaa, Friday, January 02, 2025- US President Donald Trump super political action committee raised $102 million in the second half of 2025, fueled by eight-figure donations from AI, cryptocurrency, and finance industry figures.
Three donors accounted for more than half of the fundraising haul for MAGA, the super PAC arm of Trump’s sprawling political empire, since the start of July 2025.
OpenAI President and co-founder Greg Brockman gave the group $25 million, with Foris DAX, operator of the Crypto.com exchange, donating $20 million, and private equity investor Konstantin Sokolov chipping in $11 million.
The super PAC also received $5 million contributions from Blackstone Inc. Chief Executive Officer Stephen Schwarzman, venture capitalist Asha Jadeja, and healthcare investor Benjamin Landa.
Trump has been on a fundraising tear that’s unprecedented for a second-term president who can’t seek reelection under the Constitution, highlighting his continued grip on the Republican party.
Since Election Day 2024, his super political action committee, three leadership PACs, and the Republican National Committee have collectively raised more than $500 million.
MAGA latest filing with the Federal Election Commission, required because it spent $1.7 million successfully backing Republican Matt Van Epps in a special election to fill the seat for Tennessee’s 7th congressional district, shows it had $294 million in the bank on Dec. 22, 2025, the end of the filing period.
Van Epps prevailed in a strongly Republican district over Democrat Aftyn Behn by about 9 points, a margin significantly narrower than the 21.5-point cushion his predecessor, former Representative Mark Green, who left Congress in July, enjoyed in a 2024 election victory.
The special election drew national attention and followed recent victories by Democrats in off-year November ballots that spotlighted voter frustrations with Trump’s economic agenda, particularly concerns about the cost of living and wage growth.
