Catenaa, Monday, April 13, 2026- Transak, a regulated payments infrastructure provider, has integrated with the Canton Network, enabling direct fiat access to Canton Coin (CC) for institutions and users. The move simplifies on-chain finance by allowing credit cards, bank transfers, and local payment methods to acquire the network’s native token.

The Canton Network, a privacy-preserving blockchain for institutional finance, supports over $8 trillion in tokenized real-world assets.

By offering Canton Coin through Transak, wallets and applications can embed compliant fiat access, removing friction for enterprises seeking private, on-chain transactions. Canton Coin is used to pay transaction fees and is central to the network’s synchronized finance model, where assets, contracts, and data move together in real time across participants.

Transak’s integration aligns with Canton’s goal of providing seamless institutional access. Financial institutions, fintechs, and treasury platforms can now execute transactions on-chain while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. The infrastructure ensures payments flow alongside asset movement, reducing delays common in traditional fiat systems.

Canton Foundation Executive Director Melvis Langyintuo said the integration supports broader adoption by embedding payment infrastructure into enterprise workflows. Sami Start, CEO of Transak, highlighted that the on-ramp positions institutions to run live financial operations on blockchain without exposing sensitive positions or counterparties.

Transak operates globally, offering licensing, compliance, identity verification, fraud monitoring, and global payment coverage. Its network serves more than 10 million users through over 600 applications. Canton Network, governed by the Canton Foundation, remains the only public, permissionless blockchain designed specifically for secure, private, and compliant institutional finance.
