SpaceX Transfers $134 Million in Bitcoin to New Wallets

Catenaa, Monday, October 27, 2025- Elon Musk’s SpaceX moved $133.7 million worth of bitcoin to new digital wallets Friday, marking its second major transfer in less than a week, according to Arkham Intelligence.

Earlier in the week, the company shifted about $268.5 million in bitcoin, its largest movement since July. Blockchain analysts said SpaceX now holds approximately 6,970 bitcoin valued at $770 million.

Bitcoin traded around $110,493 as of Friday afternoon, The Block reported.

Arkham said the transactions appear to be part of a consolidation process, with SpaceX moving cryptocurrency from older wallet addresses to new, more secure ones.

The firm has not made additional bitcoin purchases since mid-2022, when it reportedly reduced holdings by 70% amid market turmoil following the Terra-Luna crash and FTX collapse.

Musk’s other company, Tesla, also cut its bitcoin exposure in 2022 and currently holds about 11,509 BTC worth $1.24 billion, according to Arkham.

The back-to-back transfers suggest SpaceX is updating its crypto storage infrastructure rather than making market moves. Analysts said the activity shows how major corporate holders are tightening security and reorganizing digital assets amid a renewed surge in bitcoin prices this year.
