Catenaa, Thursday, November 27, 2025- SpaceX moved $105.4 million in bitcoin on Wednesday, shifting 1,163 BTC to two unmarked wallet addresses, according to Arkham Intelligence.
The transfer occurred at about 6:16 p.m. and marked the company’s largest on-chain movement since late October.
Arkham reported that 399 BTC went to one address and 764 BTC went to another.
The company now holds roughly 6,095 BTC valued at about $552.9 million. Bitcoin traded at $90,921 at 9 p.m., rising more than three percent in the past day.
The reason behind the transfer remains unclear. Analysts watching the activity said SpaceX may be consolidating its holdings and moving funds away from older addresses in favor of newer infrastructure.
SpaceX last moved 281 BTC on Oct. 29. Those transactions added to a pattern of periodic reshuffling after the firm sharply cut its bitcoin position in mid-2022. That reduction followed the sector-wide turmoil that began with the Terra-Luna collapse and deepened after FTX failed. Arkham data shows SpaceX has not added new bitcoin since that period.
Market watchers noted that Tesla took similar steps in 2022 when it shed most of its own bitcoin position.
Tesla now holds 11,509 BTC, valued at about $1.05 billion.
Both companies adapted their crypto exposure after the heavy losses and volatility seen during that year’s downturn.
