Catenaa, Sunday, August 16, 2026-  LBank has partnered with Pudgy Penguins for a 500,000 USDT rewards campaign, highlighting how crypto exchanges are increasingly turning to recognizable Web3 brands to drive user engagement beyond conventional trading incentives.

The campaign began Aug. 7 and combines trading rewards with the cultural appeal of Pudgy Penguins, one of Web3’s better-known digital brands.

Users can qualify through several activities, including deposits, first trades, futures trading and a locked-earn product tied to PENGU.

New users depositing at least 100 USDT into a futures account can receive a 10 USDT futures bonus. The offer is limited to the first 12,000 eligible participants.

Users completing their first qualifying spot or futures trade can receive another 5 USDT bonus.

The campaign also introduces a lucky draw linked to futures trading volume. Participants receive an entry for every 20,000 USDT in cumulative eligible volume, subject to a seven-entry limit. Rewards include Bitcoin, Pudgy Penguins merchandise and trading bonuses.

A weekly futures leaderboard requires at least 10,000 USDT in trading volume, while the highest individual bonus for qualifying top traders reaches 500 USDT.

LBank is also offering a PENGU Locked Earn component for eligible participants, combining a fixed yield with an interest boost under the campaign’s conditions.

The partnership reflects a wider battle among crypto exchanges to turn communities built around digital collectibles, memes and online identities into trading customers.

Pudgy Penguins is particularly suited to that strategy because the project has expanded beyond its NFT origins into a broader consumer-facing brand.

LBank has previously worked with Web3-native brands including Ponke, Nobody Sausage and Yeti.

Such partnerships show how the customer-acquisition playbook for crypto exchanges is changing. Competition is no longer centered only on trading fees, token listings and liquidity.

Exchanges are increasingly competing for communities.

For Pudgy Penguins and similar Web3 brands, meanwhile, exchange partnerships offer another route for converting cultural recognition into financial activity.

That convergence could become increasingly common as crypto platforms search for ways to reach users who identify with Web3 communities before they identify as active traders.
