Catenaa, Saturday, April 11, 2026- Encrypt is launching on Solana to enable Encrypted Capital Markets, allowing developers and institutions to build fast, composable, and confidential financial applications directly onchain. The platform introduces Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), a cryptographic technology that allows computations on encrypted data without exposing sensitive information such as balances, orders, or positions.

Solana, the world’s most-used blockchain and leading ecosystem for developers, provides high throughput and low latency, making it ideal for real-time, onchain capital markets. Encrypt integrates FHE into Solana’s environment, allowing applications such as confidential trading platforms, private lending systems, sealed-bid auctions, hidden liquidity pools, and encrypted prediction markets to operate without revealing sensitive data publicly.

Historically, onchain privacy solutions have required tradeoffs. Trusted operators, specialized hardware, or single-user privacy models limited composability and application flexibility. Many solutions were also too slow for production-grade financial markets. Encrypt removes these constraints by making privacy a native feature of Solana programs, enabling developers to write encrypted programs that preserve both confidentiality and composability.

For developers, this means entirely new product categories are possible. Markets can execute trades without exposing intent, lending platforms can maintain private positions, and auctions can operate with sealed bids while remaining fully onchain. For institutions, Encrypt allows participation in public, permissionless blockchain markets without compromising sensitive information. Users benefit from privacy embedded in applications rather than as an optional layer.

Encrypt is designed for practical deployment, supporting high-frequency, low-latency applications. The platform preserves Solana’s advantages while adding a missing cryptographic primitive, making private and composable onchain markets feasible at scale. The solution promises a future where financial logic is globally accessible, programmable, and confidential by default.

Encrypt will launch on Solana devnet in early Q2 2026, with a mainnet release planned later this year. The infrastructure is built by the team behind Ika, leveraging Solana Virtual Machine capabilities to support confidential DeFi, trading, and other financial applications.
