Bitwise Finalizes Details for Hyperliquid ETF

Bitwise finalizes Hyperliquid ETF details

Catenaa, Monday, December 22, 2025- Bitwise said it had amended its registration for the proposed Hyperliquid exchange-traded fund, setting a ticker and management fee as the ETF moves closer to launch.

The fund is expected to trade on NYSE Arca under the ticker BHYP with an annual management fee of 0.67%, according to the amended filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The Bitwise Hyperliquid ETF will provide investors spot exposure to the network’s native HYPE token, while also seeking additional returns through staking. Anchorage Digital Bank will act as custodian for the fund’s assets.

The amendment marks a key step in the approval process, including finalized economics, updated language on effectiveness, and the official ticker, signaling the ETF’s launch is imminent.

Bitwise initially filed for the ETF in September, becoming the first US asset manager to seek approval for a fund focused on Hyperliquid, a Layer 1 blockchain specializing in decentralized derivatives trading, particularly perpetual futures.
The network has seen strong growth in trading activity as market participants migrate to onchain derivatives platforms.

Competition for Hyperliquid-linked investment products is emerging. In October, 21Shares filed its own registration statement for a Hyperliquid ETF, though it has not yet disclosed a ticker or fee structure.

Bitwise’s filing positions it as the first to provide regulated U.S. investors access to Hyperliquid exposure through an exchange-traded fund.
