Catenaa, Sunday, November 09, 2025-Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest has purchased nearly $12 million in shares of Bullish, expanding its exposure to the crypto exchange backed by billionaire Peter Thiel.
Ark disclosed in last week’s trading report that it acquired 238,346 Bullish shares across three of its exchange-traded funds, valued at $11.98 million.
The ARK Innovation ETF bought 164,214 shares, the ARK Next Generation Internet ETF purchased 49,056 shares, and the ARK Fintech Innovation ETF added 25,076.
The latest move follows Ark’s $172 million investment in Bullish during its August debut on the New York Stock Exchange. Bullish now represents just under 1% of Ark’s three ETFs, including 0.97% of ARKK and 1.18% of ARKF.
Bullish’s stock closed Monday at $50.26, down 0.61%. The exchange’s shares have fallen 22% in the past month and nearly 47% since listing.
Founded with backing from Thiel and other prominent investors, Bullish launched spot trading in the United States last month after securing a BitLicense and Money Transmission License from New York regulators. The company says it has processed over $1.5 trillion in cumulative trading volume since late 2021.
Bullish will report third-quarter earnings on Nov. 19. In the prior quarter, it posted $57 million in adjusted revenue and $108.3 million in net income.
