Catenaa, Thursday, October 16, 2025-Proximus Global has launched Konera, a network API platform designed to bring together telecommunications services from multiple mobile operators under one global framework.
The initiative aligns with the GSMA’s CAMARA standardization project and aims to give enterprises and developers unified access to communication APIs for identity verification, fraud prevention, and digital services.
Built on the reach of Proximus Global’s BICS and Telesign divisions, Konera integrates more than 300 operator partnerships across 20 countries.
The company said its new platform will provide 92% API availability across India by year-end, following partnerships with major telecom networks.
Market research from Analysys Mason projects spending on CAMARA-based APIs will surge from $550 million in 2024 to $7.6 billion by 2030.
Proximus Global has also partnered with Nokia to expand API interoperability, combining both companies’ offerings under Nokia’s “Network as Code” platform. The firm said the goal is to simplify how operators and enterprises deliver and monetize digital communications services on a global scale.
