Catenaa, Saturday, December 13, 2025-Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise and Nokia announced three new campus network contracts, extending their partnership’s reach in critical industries.
The vendors will deploy fibre networks at Ikos Resorts in Greece, Pantai Jerudong Hospital in Brunei, and Wembley Park in the UK, providing multi-gigabit connectivity to support operations, security, and guest services.
The projects reflect a five-year collaboration that has included large-scale deployments such as France’s Grand Paris Express transit project, Montreal Railways in Canada, and Okada Manila resort in the Philippines. Together, the vendors serve over 1,000 enterprise customers worldwide.
The solutions integrate Nokia’s optical LAN with Alcatel-Lucent’s campus and in-building LAN and Wi-Fi infrastructure to provide automated device onboarding, network security, and energy-efficient operations.
At Ikos Resorts, the combined solution connects hundreds of guest rooms, supporting CCTV, voice, Wi-Fi, and building safety sensors through a single high-availability network, while reducing network layers and physical footprint.
The partnership emphasizes reliable, scalable, and mission-critical connectivity for enterprises with growing bandwidth demands.
Executives described the collaboration as a foundation for future projects targeting sectors with high data needs.
Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise EVP Sandrine El Khodry highlighted the complementarity of the vendors’ offerings, while Nokia Senior VP Matthieu Bourguignon noted the potential for additional transformative deployments across industries.
The firms said their combined expertise positions them to meet rising network performance demands and operational efficiency needs for large campuses globally.
