Catenaa, Monday, November 24, 2025-Funtico has opened the public presale for $EV2, the native token of its upcoming MMORPG shooter, Earth Version 2 (EV2). The sale releases 40% of the 2.88 billion token supply to early participants, marking the first phase of the game’s rollout.
The game will debut on PC via Funtico, Steam, and Epic Games Store, with a console release planned later. Funtico selected Ethereum for the presale to broaden accessibility and bridge traditional and blockchain gaming audiences.
$EV2 will function as the in-game currency for upgrades, marketplace trades, and performance rewards. Purchases during the presale can be made using ETH, USDC, USDT, BTC, BNB, SOL, SUPER, or credit card, with buyers spending over $1,000 receiving a 10% bonus in TICO tokens.
Earth Version 2 is set on a newly discovered planet where players uncover alien technology and ancient infrastructure.
The title merges MMORPG progression with real-time shooter action and was showcased as the first AAA Web3 game at GameRadar’s Future Game Show.
Playable classes include Brute, Cloaker, Mag, Pathfinder, and Valkyrie, each offering unique combat and support abilities. Game modes like Oblivion and Fracture combine tactical objectives with survival and competitive challenges.
Funtico’s staged development includes community testing and gameplay refinement, with token-based onboarding and partnerships planned for Q1 2026. Full release and the token generation event are scheduled for Q2 2026, followed by marketplace access, tournaments, and additional content to sustain engagement.
Presale participants will also gain access to future digital asset bundles and limited-edition in-game items.
