Robinhood Joins With Gopuff To Deliver Cash To The Door

Catenaa, Thursday, November 13, 2025- Robinhood is partnering with food-and-drink delivery app Gopuff to allow customers to withdraw cash from their Robinhood accounts and have it brought right to their door.

For a $6.99 delivery fee, or $2.99 if they have more than $100,000 in assets across their Robinhood accounts, users can skip the ATM and have money delivered in a sealed paper bag while they are at home.

It is a new feature Robinhood first teased in March, when Chief Executive Vlad Tenev unveiled the company’s plans to roll out a slew of traditional and, as with its cash-delivery service, unconventional banking services.

The brokerage, which rocketed to fame with younger investors during the meme-stock craze earlier this decade, has sought to keep pace with the evolving needs of its customers.

Other promised perks for the young included discounted helicopter rides and the chance to buy tickets to the Met Gala, the star-studded annual fashion event in New York.

The goal, said Robinhood Money vice president and general manager Deepak Rao, is to emulate the luxuries that banks and high-end wealth managers typically reserve for their well-heeled clients.

The move into cash delivery might not seem intuitive in this digital-first age. After all, apps such as Uber, DoorDash, Apple Pay, and Venmo have further popularized the use of electronic payments for most goods and services. But Rao said cash deliveries may eliminate one of the main reasons consumers still visit bank branches and ATMs.

“Everything gets delivered to their house from burritos to medicine,” Rao said. “Why not cash? Now imagine any reason you could ever think of for going to the bank.”

Robinhood’s cash delivery is already rolling out in New York, and the brokerage will launch the service in San Francisco, Philadelphia, Washington, and other major cities in the coming months.

Robinhood stock was down by almost 7% on Thursday following the news. However, the stock is up by over 232% so far this year.
