Catenaa, Sunday, February 22, 2026- KuCoin, a global cryptocurrency exchange, highlighted trust-first infrastructure and operational security at Consensus Hong Kong 2026.

The platform showcased measures designed to strengthen user protection, compliance, and market resilience across jurisdictions.

Edwin Wong, KuCoin vice president and head of risk control, joined a panel on risk intelligence, focusing on harmonizing on-chain data with off-chain verification and cross-border compliance.

Panelists emphasized that platforms must prioritize customer protection and preemptive risk management, with trust now a measurable metric affecting user retention and market stability.

KuCoin detailed initiatives including Proof of Reserves reporting, AI-assisted risk modeling, and expanded security certifications such as SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and CCSS.

The exchange’s $2 billion Trust Project aims to upgrade custody architecture, real-time monitoring, and global compliance capabilities.

The panel highlighted the need for an industry-wide, real-time compliance communication layer to speed coordination while preserving privacy.

KuCoin reinforced that trust is a foundational driver of sustainable growth, with security and transparency guiding platform selection amid volatile markets.

The company also reaffirmed its commitment to advancing global digital-asset standards and providing a safer ecosystem for users, counterparties, and institutional investors.
