Developed by Eclipse, the team behind a fast Ethereum Layer 2 using the Solana Virtual Machine, the platform addresses the “last mile” challenge in AI workflows by allowing agents to complete tasks requiring human judgment or physical presence.
The platform lets human contributors browse assignments, submit work, and receive payments via Stripe Connect.
Tasks range from audio recordings to high-context operations that remain difficult or inefficient for AI alone.
By creating a direct, programmatic workflow, Human API provides AI systems access to high-quality human-generated data at scale while monetizing skills that are still challenging to automate.
During stealth development, Human API helped produce a studio-quality audio dataset for a leading AI lab, demonstrating its ability to handle nuanced accents and complex speech data.
The platform plans to expand into additional task categories, including computer usage data and real-world execution tasks such as logistics.
Human API has raised $65 million from investors including Placeholder, Hack, Polychain, DBA, and Delphi Ventures. The funding will support the expansion of the platform’s agent-native ecosystem, formalizing workflows where humans are economically rewarded collaborators rather than secondary participants.
