Catenaa, Monday, December 22, 2025-Anchorage Digital has acquired Securitize’s wealth management unit, Securitize For Advisors, in a move to expand its services for registered investment advisors. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The deal includes Securitize For Advisors’ team and front-end platform, allowing Anchorage to integrate the unit’s technology with its federally regulated digital asset custody services.
The advisory unit has grown more than 4,500% over the past year, reaching record levels in deposits and net assets under management.
Anchorage CEO Nathan McCauley said the acquisition strengthens the firm’s offering to RIAs, combining custody, settlement, and advisory technology for clients. Anchorage already provides custody for 99% of Securitize For Advisors’ assets.
The acquisition follows regulatory changes this year, including an executive order signed by President Donald Trump allowing digital assets in retirement accounts, which has accelerated US crypto adoption among wealth managers.
