Peaq Launches World’s First Tokenized Robo-Farm in Hong Kong

Catenaa, Monday, October 06, 2025- Blockchain network Peaq recently announced the launch of what it calls the world’s first tokenized robo-farm, a vertical farming facility in Hong Kong developed with DualMint and KanayaAI.

The project links farm revenues to blockchain tokens, allowing investors to receive returns based on food sales.

The farm, unveiled during Korea Blockchain Week 2025, is designed to operate autonomously, using robotics, artificial intelligence, and climate control systems to grow crops year-round.

Peaq co-founder Leonard Dorlöchter said the system could yield approximately 20 percent annually while strengthening local food infrastructure.

Vertical farming, which grows crops indoors in stacked layers, has gained traction for its efficient use of land and water.

The Hong Kong facility is expected to deliver about 12 harvest cycles per year, using one-tenth the water and no pesticides, while occupying a fraction of the land compared with traditional farms.

Leafy greens such as lettuce, kale, and spinach will be supplied directly to residents on subscription.

Through tokenization, the farm’s revenues will be represented as non-fungible tokens on the Peaq blockchain, giving holders a share of cash flow.

DualMint is overseeing the token sale, while KanayaAI provides the automated vertical farming technology.
