Securitize Hires Ex‑Nasdaq Exec for Growth

Securitize hires former Nasdaq exec

Catenaa, Monday, February 02, 2026-Securitize appointed former Nasdaq executive Giang Bui as vice president of issuer growth as the firm expands its tokenization business across public and private markets.

Bui will work with issuers to bring regulated, issuer-led tokenized assets to market, according to the company.

She joins Securitize after holding senior roles at several major US exchanges, including Nasdaq, the New York Stock Exchange, and Cboe Global Markets.

Most recently at Nasdaq, Bui helped develop the exchange’s digital asset exchange-traded fund operations.

Her work included supporting efforts to list spot bitcoin ETFs and coordinating with issuers, regulators, liquidity providers, and internal legal and market operations teams during the approval process.

Before Nasdaq, Bui focused on ETF business development at Cboe Global Markets and previously held roles at the NYSE, giving her experience across multiple exchange platforms and market structures.

Securitize manages about $4 billion in tokenized assets and works with large institutional firms including Apollo, BlackRock, BNY, Hamilton Lane, KKR, and VanEck.

The company has positioned itself as a major provider of regulated tokenization services for traditional financial assets.

Late last year, Securitize said it was preparing to bring stocks onchain, targeting a product launch in the first quarter of 2026.

The initiative reflects broader interest among issuers in using blockchain-based infrastructure to improve settlement, distribution, and operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with existing regulations.

Bui’s appointment comes as tokenization gains traction among asset managers and issuers seeking digital representations of ownership that align with established market rules.

Securitize said her experience across exchanges will support issuers navigating the shift toward tokenized markets.
