Catenaa, Friday, December 05, 2025- RedotPay has partnered with Ripple to expand its stablecoin payout services, launching a “Send Crypto, Receive NGN” feature that converts digital assets into Nigerian naira through Ripple Payments.
The integration enables verified users with local bank accounts to receive funds within minutes, providing a lower-cost alternative to traditional remittance channels.
The feature supports a wide range of cryptocurrencies, including USDC, USDT, BTC, ETH, SOL, TON, S, TRX, XRP, and BNB, with Ripple’s RLUSD set for future integration.
Users send crypto via RedotPay, and their designated bank accounts receive NGN directly.
The system aims to streamline payments for freelancers, digital nomads, and cross-border workers while reducing reliance on slower and more expensive conventional methods.
RedotPay CEO Michael Gao described the NGN payout functionality as a milestone for the platform, emphasizing speed, security, and usability.
Ripple’s Head of Commercial for Asia Pacific, Jack Cullinane, highlighted the partnership as an example of the real-world utility of Ripple Payments, which leverages blockchain to deliver faster, transparent, and more affordable cross-border transactions.
Traditional remittances often incur fees averaging 6.49% and take one to five business days to settle, driving demand for stablecoin alternatives.
RedotPay said its Ripple integration addresses these inefficiencies while expanding the company’s global reach.
The fintech firm already offers payout solutions in other currencies, including BRL and MXN, and plans further regional expansion to bring faster, low-cost crypto remittances to underserved markets.
By integrating Ripple’s licensed cross-border infrastructure, RedotPay positions itself as a scalable solution for digital asset transfers in emerging economies.
