Kraken Launches 24/7 Tokenized Equity Perpetual Futures

Catenaa, Thursday, February 26,2026- Kraken has introduced round-the-clock trading for tokenized equity perpetual futures, offering exposure to gold, major US indexes and leading stocks including Apple, Nvidia and Tesla.

The exchange said the rollout begins with 10 perpetual contracts powered by its xStocks platform, acquired earlier this year through its finalized purchase of Backed.

The derivatives track assets such as gold, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 indexes, along with shares of companies including Google, Robinhood, Strategy and Circle Internet Group.

Kraken said the products are available to eligible non-US clients in more than 110 countries. The xStocks contracts are fully collateralized and backed one-to-one by the underlying assets.

Company executives said the move reflects growing demand for continuous access to markets that traditionally operate within fixed trading hours. The contracts follow regulated benchmarks, the firm said, as it expands its derivatives suite.

Kraken maintains a relationship with CME Group, whose contracts support parts of its offerings across asset classes.

The launch comes as Kraken pursues broader ambitions in capital markets. The company reported $2.2 billion in adjusted revenue for 2025 and has filed confidentially for an initial public offering.

A Kraken-linked special purpose acquisition company raised $345 million and listed on Nasdaq in January.
