Amundi launches tokenized money market fund on Ethereum

Catenaa, Monday, December 1, 2025-   Europe’s largest asset manager introduced its first tokenized share class on the Ethereum network, marking a new phase in the firm’s digital strategy.

Amundi said the product expands access to one of its money market funds through a share class recorded on a public blockchain.

The new class, labeled Amundi Funds Cash EUR – J28 EUR DLT, is logged on Ethereum. The firm said this supports transparent record keeping and full traceability of transactions.

The launch is part of a wider plan to upgrade fund infrastructure through distributed ledger technology and reach new investor groups.

The project was developed with CACEIS, a major asset servicing firm that supplies the digital wallet system and blockchain-based order platform.

The firms said the setup enables continuous order processing and prepares the ground for subscriptions and redemptions settled in stablecoins or future central bank digital currencies.

Amundi and CACEIS said the integration allows instant order execution and continuous operations. They stressed that the fund remains available through traditional distribution channels.

The tokenized share class adds an alternative route for investors rather than replacing existing options.
