Acre Unveils V2 With 14% Bitcoin Yield

Acre V2 platform offering 14% APY for self-custody Bitcoin holders

Catenaa, Thursday, November 20, 2025-Acre has unveiled its V2 platform, enabling Bitcoin holders to earn an estimated 14% annual percentage yield (APY) while maintaining full self-custody of their BTC.

The launch aims to turn Bitcoin from a passive store of value into a productive asset, without requiring users to navigate complex DeFi processes or relinquish control to custodians.

The platform’s first vault, curated by Re7 Labs with infrastructure from Midas, automatically compounds BTC rewards from verified on-chain yield sources. Users retain ownership at all times, with the Acre Security Council overseeing risk management and strategy approval.

The Council includes executives from Lido, Anagram, LedgerPrime, and Threshold. Rewards are distributed entirely in Bitcoin, avoiding exposure to alternative tokens or chains.

Acre’s V2 platform automates bridging, rebalancing, and reinvestment via on-chain protocols, allowing BTC holders to participate directly from their wallets.

The vault leverages liquidity provision, options, and layer-2 staking strategies previously accessible mainly to institutions and high-net-worth individuals.

CEO Laura Wallendal highlighted that Acre removes the common tradeoff between yield and self-custody, providing transparent, secure access to compounding returns.

Evgeny Gokhberg of Re7 Capital emphasized the platform’s role in advancing institutional-grade DeFi infrastructure for Bitcoin, while Midas CEO Dennis Dinkelmeyer noted the importance of responsible partnerships in building trust and operational safeguards.
