Catenaa, Thursday, December 04, 2025- Amazon Web Services rolled out new artificial intelligence features Tuesday, including agents that it said can operate for hours or days without needing user input.
The launch was announced at the company’s re:Invent conference in Las Vegas as AWS seeks more traction in enterprise AI.
AWS Chief Executive Matt Garman said the agents were built to tackle complex assignments through a mix of software engineering, data infrastructure and memory systems.
The tools mark a shift from traditional agents that often stop work and request help.
Amazon also introduced Nova Forge, a service that enables companies to train private versions of its Nova models using their own data. Customers testing the system reported better performance than earlier techniques.
The cloud division confirmed the general launch of its Trainium3 chip, aimed at supporting AI workloads. The updates come as AWS faces criticism for moving slower than rivals to release models. The company said its focus was on building a platform flexible enough for businesses.
AWS continues to cite rising demand for AI capacity. It said it added nearly four gigawatts of data center power in the last year.
Amazon’s cloud unit reported revenue growth of 20 percent in the third quarter, the fastest clip since 2022, signaling momentum as enterprises step deeper into AI.
